I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see it myself, but this kitchen accessory looks like a human form being stabbed by multiple knives. Perhaps there’s some art angle that I’m missing, but I can’t see how anyone would want this in their kitchen.

C’mon OTTami. If it were a actual dead guy, you could get a whole lot more than just 5 knives in there. Or 5 huh-youdge knives.
Think of the improved efficiency. Neighbors could also store their knives there. Charge rent. It could be a money-maker.
And, Tata, if you got it in red, it could be that old port/starboard thing. Especially good if you set it all up backwards. Imagine all the confused previous-sailors.
