Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation;
\n Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
\nHide me from the secret plots of the wicked,
\n From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity,
\nWho sharpen their tongue like a sword,
\n And bend their bows to shoot their arrows\u00e2\u20ac\u201dbitter words,
\n That they may shoot in secret at the blameless;

They encourage themselves in an evil matter;

\n Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep.<\/p>\n
But God shall shoot at them with an arrow;
\n Suddenly they shall be wounded.
\nSo He will make them stumble over their own tongue;
\n All who see them shall flee away.
\nAll men shall fear,
\n And shall declare the work of God;
\n For they shall wisely consider His doing.<\/p>\n
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and trust in Him.
